Same Old Lang Syne - Print
Inspiration
Named after Same Old Lang Syne by Dan Fogelberg, this painting captures the stillness of a place that once meant something. A quiet coffee shop. Two empty chairs. The kind of table you used to share—back when it was easier to talk, or at least easier to try.
Now it just sits there, unchanged, while everything else has moved on.
You pass by the window and wonder if they ever do the same.
“We drank a toast to innocence
We drank a toast to now
And tried to reach beyond the emptiness
But neither one knew how”
— Same Old Lang Syne, Dan Fogelberg
